രക്ഷിതാക്കൾ ആക്സോ ബ്ലേഡ് ഉപയോഗിച്ച് കട്ട് ചെയ്യാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചെങ്കിലും സാധിക്കാത്തത് കാരണം തിരൂർ അഗ്നി രക്ഷാസേനയെ വിവരം അറിയിച്ചതിനെ തുടർന്ന് അസിസ്റ്റൻറ് സ്റ്റേഷൻ ഓഫീസർ അബ്ദുൽസലീമിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള സേന സംഭവസ്ഥലത്ത് എത്തുകയും കുട്ടിക്ക് യാതൊരു പരിക്കുകളും കൂടാതെ ഹൈഡ്രോളിക് കട്ടർ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് കസേരയുടെ റിംഗ് കട്ട് ചെയ്തു മാറ്റി കുട്ടിയെ പുറത്തെടുത്തു.
തിരൂർ മുനിസിപ്പാലിറ്റി വാർഡ് ഒന്ന് പപ്പടക്കര ഹൗസ് യാഷിക്കിന്റെ മകൾ ഹൈറ രണ്ടു വയസ്സ് കുട്ടിയുടെ കഴുത്തിലാണ് റിംഗ് കുടുങ്ങിയത്.

two-year-old child in Kallingal, Tirur, had her head trapped in the bottom ring of a chair around her neck.
​The parents attempted to cut the ring using a hacksaw blade but failed. Following this, they informed the Tirur Fire and Rescue Services. A team led by Assistant Station Officer Abdul Saleem quickly arrived at the scene and rescued the child.
​The rescue team successfully used a hydraulic cutter to cut and remove the chair ring, freeing the child without any injuries.
​The child was identified as Haira, daughter of Yashik of Pappadakkara House, Ward One of the Tirur Municipality. She is two years old.
