Just like the adult insect I made a video of (   • Tying an all CDC Yellow Sally stonefly ( d...  ), the Yellow Sally nymph is perhaps the most interesting of the stoneflies, because of its smaller size?..at least as far as I'm concerned, I have much more results than with the big black stoneflies, whether in nymph or dry and also in rivers where this family is less present, even non-existent...
Regarding the pattern that I have chosen to present you here, there is no particular difficulty if you take your time, and be sure to represent the characteristics of the stonefly species with their abdomen relatively short, at the same size than the thorax/wing sacs/head together...
I fish with this pattern a lot euro nymphing as close as possible to the bottom, and a twich on this type of nymph is very often a strike...!

Tout comme l'insecte adulte dont j'ai fait une vidéo du montage (   • Tying an all CDC Yellow Sally stonefly ( d...  ), la nymphe de l'Isoperla est peut être la plus intéressante des mouches de pierre , probablement en raison de sa plus petite taille...tout au moins en ce qui me concerne, j'ai bien plus de résultats qu'avec les gros plécoptères noirs, que ce soit en nymphe ou en sèche et aussi dans les rivières ou cette famille est moins présente, voire inexistante...
Concernant le montage que j'ai choisi de vous proposer ici ,il n'y a pas de difficulté particulière si vous prenez votre temps , et veillez à bien représenter les caractéristiques de cette famille avec son abdomen qui doit être relativement court ,et de la taille de l'ensemble thorax/sacs alaires /tète
J'utilise beaucoup ce montage, en nymphe au fil, au plus près du fond, et une tirée /animation sur ce type de nymphe déclenche très souvent une attaque des truites ...!
