Crispy Sage Chicken (gluten-free)

Sage, butter, and white wine come together harmoniously with chicken in this easy to make dish.
Ingredients:
3 chicken breast
1/2 cup gluten free flour blend or regular flour
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 TBSP vegetable or olive oil
6 TBSP butter
1/3 cup white wine
2/3 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup fresh sage leaves
1 tsp lemon juice
Directions:
Mix 1/4 tsp of garlic powder, poultry seasoning, paprika, black pepper and 1/2 tsp of salt and set aside.
Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally and pound out to thin out. Season with the other 1/4 of remaining seasonings. Dredge chicken in flour mixture.
In a large frying pan heat vegetable oil over medium high heat and add 2 TBSP of butter. Once melted add your chicken pieces and brown on each side. When done remove from pan and set aside .
Add remaining 4 TBSPS of butter to pan. Once melted. Add in your sage leaves and cook until butter starts to foam (about 30-45 seconds). Remove and set aside to drain on a paper towel.
To the brown butter add white wine and chicken broth. Let simmer for about 5-7 mins. Add 1 tsp lemon juice to sauce.
Add chicken pieces back to pan with sauce and sprinkle sage leaves on top. Done!
Serve with your favorite sides. I recommend mashed potatoes or a cheese ravioli to soak up the wonder sauce.
