Moisture in the air isn’t just annoying — it can lead to condensation, and over time, mould, which can damage your furnishings and give that dreaded musty smell. So, in true Grey Wagtail fashion, I’m looking at the science of humidity and condensation and exploring some practical solutions:

🌫️ What is humidity?
💧 What does “relative humidity” mean, and why does it matter?
🌡️ How does the dew point cause condensation?
🫁 How do everyday activities — even breathing! — contribute to rising moisture levels?
🚪 Why are metal surfaces and windows especially vulnerable?

Once I’ve covered the basics, I’ll show you how you can fix the problem:
