Gallatin growth takes spotlight amid rezoning, master plan proposals

Описание: Growth is on the agenda for Tuesday's Gallatin City Council Committee meeting as rezoning and master development plans will be discussed amid many changes coming to Middle Tennessee.

Rezoning is putting homes or developments where they weren't allowed to go before. It can be a touchy subject, especially when it comes to your neighborhood.

One item on the agenda is a 35-house, 440-unit assisted living facility on Greensboro Drive, dubbed Greensboro Village. Documents show this would sit on around 43 acres of land.

Another item is a property owned by Anthony Holt that would let nearly five acres of land on Long Hollow be commercially leased and add a "mini-storage facility."
