I used the biggest, widest sticks they have for the the boat. I used the thinest small ones for the little hut on top. For glue: I used mostly hot glue.
I made a mistake when I was putting modge podge on the boat and left blobs in certain spots thinking it would all dry clear . I think that the matte one does, but glossy doesn't. Don't make my mistake, make sure you clear out the blobs before it dries. I will go back and sand it later and repaint if I need it to get rid of the blobs. I don't like them. looks like snow on the boat. lol.
