Optitex Tutorial! Ladies Shirt pattern with bust and fish dart :

Описание: In this video tutorial, I will teach you how to draft perfect fitted women's shirt pattern with bust and fish dart. This pattern is a great starting point for creating a variety of different shirt styles, such as blouses, button-down shirts, and wrap shirts.

Start by taking your bust measurement. This is the widest part of your chest.
Draw a horizontal line on your paper. This will be the bottom of your shirt pattern.
Measure up from the bottom line by half of your bust measurement. This will be the top of your shirt pattern.
Draw a vertical line at the top of your shirt pattern. This will be the center front of your shirt.
Measure out from the center front line by half of your bust measurement. This will be the center back of your shirt.
Connect the top and bottom lines of your shirt pattern with a curved line. This will be the sides of your shirt.
Draw a horizontal line at the bottom of your shirt pattern, 2 inches above the bottom line. This will be the hemline.
Draw a vertical line at the center front of your shirt pattern, extending down from the hemline by 4 inches. This will be the center front placket.
Draw a vertical line at the center back of your shirt pattern, extending down from the hemline by 4 inches. This will be the center back placket.
To create the fish dart, draw a horizontal line at the bust level, extending out from the center front line by 2 inches.
Draw a vertical line at the end of the horizontal line, extending down by 2 inches.
Connect the end of the vertical line to the center front line with a curved line.
Erase the horizontal line and the vertical line.
Cut out your shirt pattern.
