1CCBBH - 717. Magic Purple (1 Credit Clear)

Описание: From the makers of Best of Best comes yet another Tumblepop clone, this time you're a duck with boxing gloves who can upgrade to a gun.

I thought this game wouldn't be too dificult a clear but I was wrong, as I kept messing up on stages in a myriad of ways. The first boss in particular can kinda be an early gatekeeper for getting by deathless if enemies decide to spawn in unfortunate spots.

Spelling BONUS gives you a weird bonus stage that awards you an extra life and shows an anime girl's extremely skinny legs. Despite my best attempts to check every single section of every stage for hidden letters, I couldn't find a B anywhere between 1-7 and 5-4, so it kinda limits how many extra lives you can get. I assume you're supposed to be able to keep scrolling the screen up to see the rest of the anime girl, so where are these letters?

Picking up a power-up spins the slot machine reels at the bottom of the screen but it's hard to pay attention to that in the middle of everything. Sometimes you get things like extra items, hidden items revealed, BONUS letters, and sometimes you make 5 Goemon's which summons the invincible Huppy Up enemy. How nice.

You can pick up bombs to become invincible and blow up everything around you in a very small radius, but if you try to damage a boss (or the Huppy Up enemy), it kills you instantly. Who thought this was a good idea?
