This was a test reel transfer for Super 8 movie film. This was a 5K video transfer to 16 bit DPX files. DPX files were converted from 18 fps to 24 fps in Adobe Premiere Pro CC and auto contrast was selected. Framing was cropped to 4:3 and then inserted into a 16:9 frame with pillarboxes. The video was then downconverted from 5K down to 1080P m4v files. The 1080P file is what is being shown here. No image stabilization was used in the rendering of this video. Camera used was an Elmo 350SL shot at 18 fps on Kodachrome 40 shot around 2010. The film was the last roll of Kodachrome Super 8 I shot before developing for Kodachrome ceased in Dec 2010. I got the film in a week before that ended. 5K film transfer was done at Gamma Ray Digital in 2015.
