I developed this version of Dai Vernon's Triumph routine around 1975. The core technique uses what I call the HP maneuver, and initially incorporated the Nest Reverse from my Magic Mafia Effects book. I've since updated the handling with what I now refer to as the Standing Nest Reverse, allowing the entire routine to be performed standing—using an in-the-hands riffle rather than a table riffle. The Standing Nest is detailed on page 9 of Senior Moments 2025.
