They Put the Quiet Human on the Worst Team—Then the Alien Instructor Recognized His Tactics | HFY

Описание: They gave the quiet human the academy’s lowest-ranked team. Nobody expected them to win.

Nolan Ward doesn’t boast about his service record. He asks for a map, checks the emergency equipment, and listens to the three alien teammates everyone else has dismissed.

When the exercise begins, his team gives up ground. Their opponents seize the objective. The spectators start laughing.

Then an old instructor recognizes the way Nolan moves his wounded.

He has seen those tactics before—at a station nobody was supposed to escape alive.

But Nolan’s opponents are smart enough to break his plan. And when the exercise ends, a real emergency turns the winning team into the only people who can reach their trapped rivals.
