Thanet District Council - Protect Yourself, Protect Your Coast

Описание: 'Protect Yourself, Protect Your Coast' was a safety and conservation education campaign delivered on Margate Main Sands this summer to over 300 school children.


Through engaging, interactive sessions on the beach and at the train station, children learned about the dangers of pier jumping (tombstoning), essential water and rail safety, and coastal conservation. The accompanying film captures the energy and positive impact of a day that empowered a new generation to be safer visitors and stewards of our coast.


The campaign was delivered in partnership with Travel Safe Travel Smart, Thanet Coast Project, East Kent Bird Wise, RNLI, and Your Leisure.
