Dr. Brown was a visionary theologian, teacher, pastor, and institutional leader whose life reflected a deep commitment to the church, the academy, and the formation of faithful leaders for the work of justice, liberation, and love. His scholarship and servant leadership shaped generations of students and strengthened the witness of Payne Theological Seminary across the world.
