Howloween Pirate Pawty and Bandit’s Birthday

Описание: We started the day with lots of excitement at the farm. It was Tangerine the Kelpie’s birthday today and she chose a birthday sleepover to celebrate her special day. Tangy especially enjoyed her yummy lamb breakfast cake this morning. Happy birthday Tangy!

This morning we also received a package in the mail all the way from South Carolina from Faye and Carol. It was chock full of goodies for everyone with a lovely letter they’d written to tell us how the doggy videos had touched their lives. Thank you so very much Faye and Carol, we were all very excited discovering all the treats and really felt the love you’d sent us in thoughtfully putting it all together. Thank you!

We were celebrating Howloween again for our Wednesday pack and Charlie thought he’d decorate his chariot appropriately for the ride down to greet the bus. He got some ideas from Rodney.

There were a few great costumes on the dogs today ... Lola the Border Collie was a giant Red Back spider, Elle the Labrador was Jack Sparrow and Zara the Labrador was a ghost ... which I have to say made us chuckle ... her costume, although covered most of her face and body could not hide her big smile ... she was surely the happiest ghost we’ve ever seen!

His birthday got postponed on Monday because of the rain, but all was forgiven today when Bandit discovered it was finally his turn for birthday cake! He had a pawty in the bush after our Howloween treasure hunt and then following farm traditions, we threw 3 Swiss balls in the dam. We’ve know Bandit since he was just 6 months old, way before the farm started back when Luke trained him, well now he’s 6 years old. Happy birthday big guy!

It was a big day at the farm with lots of celebrations. The dogs had so much fun ... Happy Howloween!
