Half-Life's POLAR OPPOSITE Expansions: Opposing Force vs Blue Shift

Описание: Half-Life is a first person shooter released by Valve in 1998. It follows protagonist Gordon Freeman as he attempts to contain and alien breakout at the government research facility he works at, Black Mesa. Half-Life Opposing Force and Blue Shift are two expansion packs released in the following years taking place during the same timeframe of the events of Half-Life 1. Opposing Force follows the POV of marine Adrian Shephard, who was sent to the Black Mesa facility to neutralize the alien invasion. Meanwhile Blue Shift follows the perspective of a Black Mesa security guard, Barney Calhoun, and his attempt to escape the Black Mesa facilities with his colleagues and with his life. Today I'll be discussing both of Half-Life's expansion packs, discussing their pros and cons, and ultimately explaining which expansion pack I prefer and why.
