July 4, 2025, together with Alexander Kormushin, we climbed this “hard” classic on the south face of Aiguille du Midi.
Although the morning was cold, humid, and foggy—and we even thought about just climbing the Cosmique Ridge instead—the weather improved later, and we climbed the crux pitch in perfect conditions.
