Sara Celardo was born in Campobasso (Italy) on 23/03/2000. She had finished her Bachelor Program with 110 honours and honorable mention at the Conservatory of Music "L. Perosi "of Campobasso at the age of 18 as a student of M° Fernando Lepri.
She is now attending the Master Degree Program in Graz (Austria) at the Kunstuniversität under the guide of the Professor Paolo Pegoraro.
She has performed in several concerts as a soloist and she won the 1st Prize or the 1st Absolute Prize in prestigious national and international guitar competitions for the solo category. In 2016, she was also selected by the Scientific Committee of the International Competition "Michele Pittaluga" in Alessandria as the best guitar promise and on 01/10/2016. She debuted at the 49th International Guitar Conference. On 21st June, for the European Music Festival, at the Chamber of Deputies in Montecitorio, received a prize because she was the winner of many national and international competitions.
In the academy year 2017/2018 she attended the “Segovia Guitar Academy” in Pordenone with the Professors Paolo Pegoraro and Adriano Del Sal.
In 2019 she published her first debut album for the dotGuitar Label, as part of the prize of “XI Fiuggi Guitar Festival”.
Recently she had won the first prize at the “14th Anna Amalia Guitar Competition” (3rd Age Group - Germany), the second prize at the “Internationales Gitarrenfestival Rust” (no age limit - Austria), the first prize at the “16th Altamira Gorizia Competition, Enrico Mercatali Prize” (no age limit – Italy) and the first prize at the “9th Antwerpen Gitaarfestival International Masters Competition” (no age limit – Belgium).
