The 287-year-old Wadia Group, which owns Britannia and has 9 companies, started an airline called Go First in 2005.

However, the airline faced problems when its P&W engines started failing in 2018, and the number of grounded planes increased to 50% by 2023, causing a loss of 2700 crores and a debt of 6500 crores.

With no money left, Go First is shutting down.
