This is a gameplay video of how to obtain a cow pet (Royal Calf) in The Darkening of Tristram.
Find the item: 'Rotten Mushroom' which should be in Labyrinth Level 9 growing on a mushroom patch.
Bring to the cauldron in Adria's Hut and you'll get 'Witch's Brew'.
Bring to Farnham's corpse to get 'Drunkard's Debt'.
Bring to Ogden's corpse to get 'Garda's Letter'.
Bring to Pepin's corpse to get 'Healer's Prescription'.
Bring to Griswold's corpse to get 'Plan: Wirt's Leg'.
Bring to and teach Blacksmith.
Craft 'Wirt's Leg' from Blacksmith for 10 Reusable Parts and 1,000,000 Gold.
Savage 'Wirt's Leg' using Blacksmith to get 'Map of the Stars'
Bring to the 3 dead cows near Adria's Hut, and click the middle, then left, then right cow in this sequence to unlock 'Abandoned Farmstead' area.
Enter 'Abandoned Farmstead' and find chest in the middle of map.
Open chest and receive 'Royal Calf' Pet.
