Pune Rape Case: Maharashtra Transport Minister's Big Action In Swargate Rape Case | Pune Bus Rape
A 26-year old woman was raped inside a bus early Tuesday morning while it was parked in the middle of Pune's Swargate Bus Stand, around 100 metres from a police station. The accused named Dattatraya Ramdas- was identified through CCTV feed. Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik ordered a departmental inquiry against the Assistant Transport superintendent at Swargate and Bus Depot manager. He has also instructed to suspend them if they are found at fault in the inquiry. Instructions are given to replace all the security personnel at Swargate bus depot with new personnel.
