This was a seven-night sailing on Celebrity’s newest ship, with stops in Santorini, Mykonos, Kuşadası, and Malta. It was also the first time I cruised with my mum as a guest and not as crew. That alone made the trip really special. From beautiful port days to unexpected windstorms that cleared the pool deck, this cruise was full of surprises.

In this video, I’m sharing my full experience onboard Celebrity Ascent, from embarkation day right through to disembarkation. I’ll take you through the highlights and the hiccups, including a surprise reunion with an old shipmate, some slightly chaotic tender ports, a few hits and misses in the entertainment lineup, and my honest thoughts on the food, cabins, and overall vibe of the ship.
