I have no proof, and I'm just asking -- did two guys on a SoCal beach decide to smoke pot during the filming of a Mannix episode scene so they could be filmed on camera doing it, with bragging rights for all time???
Look to the lower left of Mannix as the camera pans away from a close-up of the main characters.
Remember this was during the early 70s so Pot was both popular, out of public sight, and very-very illegal!!
