The Sino-Soviet split happened in 1961 and just 8 years later, the two would have border skirmishes in Manchuria. These were eventually cooled down and were resolved, but what if they had broken out into total war?
Would the Warsaw Pact expand into China, or would China become an even larger threat to the Soviets and take Outer Manchuria, speeding up the collapse of the Soviet Union?
