My experience with Omori

Описание: Omori is a game that stayed with me long after I finished it. Not because it hurt, but because it refused to justify suffering.

This video is a personal analysis of Omori, exploring its themes of guilt, self-forgiveness, friendship, and what it means to keep living after irreversible loss. It reflects on how the game reshaped the way I think about pain, responsibility, and healing (both in fiction and in my own life).

This project began as an unfinished script and footage from my first playthrough, left untouched for a long time. On Omori’s 5-year anniversary, I decided to finally bring it to life. This video blends gameplay footage with live commentary and general commentary. Some sections are skimmed over which is why I recommend still playing the game before you watch this video.

Because this story is about what happens when people are left alone with their pain, I wanted this video to do something tangible beyond words. I chose to support UGMH (United for Global Mental Health), an organization advocating for accessible mental health care worldwide.
