Winter brings out the sketchbook goblin in me, as I just want to bundle up in warm places and doodle. Here, I'm filling the first spread of a new watercolor sketchbook. My oldest, full pans of watercolors that I still use after over a decade: Winsor & Newton, but professional grade, NOT Cotman. These are so highly pigmented that I still haven't used up the full pans after all these years. I especially love W&N French Ultramarine, Magenta, and Permanent Sap Green.
