Dr Muhammad Nauman Kakakhel has completed his doctorate (Ph.D.) in Condensed Matter Physics from Kyungpook National University (KNU) Daegu South Korea. He is also a Researcher at Institute of Science and Technology (IST) Austria.
His research interest belongs to magnetic materials. He is currently focused on Strongly Correlated/Quantum Materials, quasi-2D magnetic van der Waals (vdW) materials, and Anti-ferromagnetic spintronics. He studies the exotic properties of materials in extreme conditions i.e. Low Temperature, High Magnetic field, High Pressure, and Strain, etc.
