Syllabub is an over four hundred year old dessert consisting simply of a fortified wine combined with cream and citrus fruits.
I’m this episode we’ll be sharing our recipe for a classic Syllabub as well the recipe for our brilliantly British version. Enjoy.
Ingredients
White syllabub
50g powdered sugar
Juice from 1/2 lemon
1 Teaspoon Zest from a large lemon
1 teaspoon orange blossom water
30ml white port
150ml double cream
Pink Syllabub
150g powdered sugar
Zest from a large orange 1 teaspoon
Juice from 1/2 orange
1 teaspoon orange blossom water
30ml Red port
150ml double cream
