The home owner had decided to make some more useful space by digging out and area under his house and concreting a large area. This plan was going well until a large piece of granite rock was encountered. Undeterred they fired up the internet and found a Demolition Dave video showing how such rock can be conquered using an expanding grout product like Expando. The product was purchased, holes drilled and filled, waiting, waiting.... The exercise was not successful... for all of the usual reasons.... Holes to small a diameter, holes not deep enough and holes too far apart. With the concrete guys applying pressure to get the site ready, the decision was made to call Demolition Dave. Using the Hydraulic wedge splitter, Dave was able get all of the rock out the following day.
