How Africa's Conservation can SAVE the PLANET! (Nairobi)

Описание: SpoOn this trip to Nairobi, Kenya, I discovered a city where wildlife, people, and modern life collide — and where the fight for Africa’s future is shaping the future of the world.

We began at the Giraffe Center, feeding Rothschild’s giraffes and learning how close they came to extinction. Then, we drove through Nairobi National Park — the only national park in the world inside a capital city — where lions, rhinos, and zebras roam against the backdrop of Nairobi’s skyline.

Next, we visited the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, where orphaned baby elephants are rescued and raised until they can return to the wild — a living example of conservation in action.

Finally, I sat down with Kaddu Sebunya, CEO of the African Wildlife Foundation, to learn how Africa’s challenges with population growth, natural resources, agriculture, and forests are not just African problems — they are global problems. What happens here will decide whether endangered species survive, whether ecosystems endure, and whether humanity as a whole can adapt to climate change.
