Grenada is part of the Lesser Antilles. Its territory include the bigger and Grenada, two other smaller inhabited islands Carriacou and Petite Martinique, It is located between Trinidad and Tobago and and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. It is the southern-most Windward Islands.
Capital is St. George's, One of the prettiest port towns in the Caribbean.
Official currency is Eastern Caribbean Dollar.
Grenada have some amazing places; Grand Anse beach, Grand Etang National Park, The Moliniere underwater sculpture park, Fort George, Fort Frederick, Grenada National Museum and Spice Tours & Tastings
Grenada is known as the "Island of Spice", because they grow nutmeg, mace, cinnamon, cloves, vanilla and cocoa. Let look at the flag, it has a nutmeg. Grenada is the second largest producer of Nutmeg.
Geography
Grenada is a volcanic island The highest point is Mt. St. Catherine at 840 m (2,757 ft.).
Largest lake is Grand Etang covers 36 acres in the crater of an extinct volcano
Carriacou is the largest and most populated island in the Grenadines. It is renowned for its boat building industry.
Petite Martinique is a small 586 acres (2.37 km2) with the population of 900.
Climate
Average temperature ranges from 75ºF to 85ºF (24ºC to 30ºC),
Grenada is not in the Hurricane Belt, but occasionally Hurricane devastates the island. Hurricane Ivan in 2004 killed 39 people and damaged 90% of the island

History
Early history is similar to other windward islands, Arawak Indians settle on the island between 200 – 400 AD
Couple of years after the independence civil conflict gradually broke into a major coop. 1983. Grenada was taken over by Marxist communists on October 19th, 1983. Six days later US and Caribbean forces entered the islands. The following year, held a free elections and re-instituted democracy. It continue to this day.
People and Culture
English is the official language, but main spoken language is English creole.
Majority of the Grenadians are Christians. Mostly Presbyterian.
Grenadian culture is influenced by British, African, West Indian and French cultures and these cultures has left an strong influence in the folklore, dialect, music and general way of life. French and English influence can still be found in surnames, names of villages, the local dialect and architectures
African heritage is deeply rooted in Grenadian music, dance and festivals. Soca, calypso, steel pan and DJ music all part of everyday life.
Festivals and carnivals are a way for people to come together and celebrate popular festivals includes Grenada Spice Jazz Festival, Christmas, Rainbow City Festival, St. Patrick’s Day Festival, Fisherman’s Day Festival, St. Mark’s Day Festival and Maroon Festival.
Food also plays an important role in Grenadian culture where "oildown" is the national dish. Economy
Grenada’s economy is relatively diversified, with several sectors contributing to it’s GDP of $1.8 billion. The country's principal export crops are the spices, nutmeg and mace, Other crops for export include cocoa, sour sop, citrus fruits, cloves, and cinnamon. Grenada also exports yellow-fin tuna, to the United States and Europe.
Since the mid-nineties however, the economy shifted to service, with tourism, construction, transport and private education being the leading contributors to GDP. These four sectors combined accounts for 50 % of GDP.
River Antoine Rum Distillery is the oldest functioning water-propelled distillery in the Caribbean.
