Lithium batteries for golf carts are gaining in popularity like crazy. Newer technology in lithium batteries, such as in Tesla cars, have transformed long range capability in a compact battery pack. The benefits of doing a lithium ion golf cart battery conversion are many! An average lithium battery can cycle between 2,000 and 5,000 times; whereas, an average lead-acid battery can last roughly 200-300 cycles. That's about 10 times longer life than a lead acid pack.

Another huge benefit of lithium ion golf cart batteries is their weight. Lithium ion batteries are about 70% lighter than their lead counterparts. On average, a golf cart conversion from lead acid to Lithium Ion will save over 300lbs! This positively impacts the cart's performance and reduces wear and tear on a golf cart's controller, motor, suspension, frame, and tires.
