Hi everyone! I’m Jo, and this is my cat Macchou 🐈✨
Today I’m cooking Larb, a fresh and flavorful dish from Laos 🇱🇦🌿
Recently I tried making Lao sticky rice and Jeow dipping sauce after a viewer who always leaves such kind comments introduced it to me, and it was so delicious. So today I wanted to try another Lao dish and explore more Lao food in my Japanese kitchen.

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 2)
• 200 g ground chicken
• 1 tbsp fish sauce
• 1 tbsp lime juice
• 1 tsp chili flakes
• 2 tbsp chopped green onions
• 2 tbsp chopped cilantro
• lettuce leaves (for serving)
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Heat a frying pan over medium heat.
2. Add the ground chicken and cook until fully done, breaking it apart as it cooks.
3. Add fish sauce, lime juice, and chili flakes.
4. Turn off the heat.
5. Add chopped green onions and cilantro.
6. Mix well.
7. Serve with fresh lettuce leaves.
💡 Note
Larb is often made with toasted rice powder, but today I'm making a simpler version without it.
