Our parents and grandparents, like many others emigrated from India for a better opportunity at life. Whilst we have established lives in the UK, an interesting statistic recently showed that brits are increasingly leaving the country and settling elsewhere (77,000 in 2023 to 257,000 in 2024). Therefore we consider the countries we could move to... and if Punjab is a realistic option. Regardless of the current political climate this is a topic we find very interesting and hope is relatable to families that have grown up in the West, be that Canada, America, Italy or wherever!
