1.) Past Tense: This tense describes actions that happened in the past.
1. Simple Past Tense:
Uses of Simple Past Tense:
Completed actions at a specific time in the past: I went to the store yesterday.
A series of completed actions in the past: He woke up, got dressed, and had breakfast.
Past habits or repeated actions (often with adverbs of frequency or time expressions): When I was young, I played the cricket.
Past states or situations: They lived in that house for five years.

Structure / Formula of Simple Past Tense:
For regular verbs: base form + -ed (played, walked, studied)
For irregular verbs: various forms (went, ate, saw)

Examples of Simple Past Tense:
She visited her grandparents last weekend. (specific time)
The cat jumped on the table and ate the fish. (series of actions)
He often stayed up late when he was a student. (past habit)
We were happy to see them. (past state)
I ate pizza. (completed action in the past)

2. Past Continuous Tense: Example: I was eating pizza. (action in progress at a specific time in the past)
3. Past Perfect Tense: Example: I had eaten pizza before you arrived. (action completed before another action in the past)
4. Past Perfect Continuous Tense: Example: I had been eating pizza for an hour when you arrived. (action in progress for a duration before another action in the past)

2.) Present Tense: This tense generally describes actions happening now, habitual actions, general truths, and scheduled events.

Uses of Simple Present Tense:
Habitual actions or routines: I drink coffee every morning.
General truths or facts: The Earth revolves around the sun.
States or conditions: She is happy. They live in London.
Scheduled events in the near future: The train leaves at 6 PM.
With adverbs of frequency (always, usually, often, sometimes, rarely, never): He always arrives on time.

Structure / Formula of Simple Present Tense:
For I, you, we, they: base form of the verb (eat, go, speak)
For he, she, it: base form of the verb + -s or -es (eats, goes, speaks)

Examples of Simple Present Tense:
They play football on Sundays. (habit)
Water boils at 100 degrees Celsius. (fact)
She feels tired. (state)
The train leaves at 6 PM. (scheduled event)
I eat pizza. (habitual action)
The sun rises in the east. (general truth)

6. Present Continuous: Example: I am eating pizza. (action happening now)
7. Present Perfect: Example: I have eaten pizza. (action completed at an unspecified time in the past or has relevance to the present)
8. Present Perfect Continuous: Example: I have been eating pizza. (action that started in the past and is continuing now)

3.) Future Tense: This tense describes actions that will happen in the future. It's often expressed using auxiliary verbs like will and shall, or the going to construction.
9. Simple Future Tense:
Uses of Simple Future Tense:
Predictions about the future: It will rain tomorrow.
Spontaneous decisions or promises: I will help you with that.
Offers: I will carry your bag.
Scheduled events in the future: The meeting will start at 10 AM.
With time expressions like tomorrow, next week, in the future, soon: They will travel to Europe next year.

Structure or Formula of Simple Future Tense:
will/shall + base form of the verb

Examples of Simple Future Tense:
They will arrive soon. (prediction)
"I'm hungry." "I will make you a sandwich." (spontaneous decision)
We will see you next week. (scheduled event)
I will eat pizza. (future intention)

10. Future Continuous: Example: I will be eating pizza at 7 PM. (action in progress at a specific time in the future)
11. Future Perfect: Example: I will have eaten pizza by the time you arrive. (action that will be completed before a specific time in the future)
12. Future Perfect Continuous: Example: I will have been eating pizza for an hour by the time you arrive. (action that will be in progress for a duration before a specific time in the future)
