Sutartinės is Lithuanian multipart songs. It is a unique phenomenon of traditional Lithuanian music. In 2010, polyphonic songs were included in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. It is important that these days we can hear these songs not only in folklore festivals, but also in contemporary works, because some composers incorporate this principle of performance in their works.
Lithuanian countryside tourism association/www.countryside.lt/, implementing the project "Traditional Lithuanian craft guide" seeks to increase Lithuanian crafts and UNESCO objects notoriety and to invite people to travel in Lithuania.
