କନ୍ଧମାଳ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପୋଲିସ, ଅବକାରୀ, ଜଙ୍ଗଲ ଏବଂ ରାଜସ୍ବ ବିଭାଗ ମିଳିତ ଭାବେ ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ଅପେରସନ "ନୀଳ ଜହର" ଜାରି ରଖିଛନ୍ତି । ମିଳିତ ଟିମ ଗତକାଲି ଟିକାବାଲି ଥାନା ଅଞ୍ଚଳର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଗାଁ ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଜଙ୍ଗଲରେ ଚଢ଼ାଉ କରି ପ୍ରାୟ ୪୫ ଲକ୍ଷରୁ ଅଧିକ ଟଙ୍କାର ଗଞ୍ଜେଇ ଚାଷ ନଷ୍ଟ କରିଛନ୍ତି ।
Illegal ganja cultivation worth over ₹45 lakh has been destroyed in Kandhamal district as part of a joint operation by the district police along with the Excise, Forest and Revenue departments. The action was carried out under the ongoing special drive named Operation Neela Jahar.
