It's something a lot of young Muslims around the country - and the world take part in.

Ramadan is a special time in the Islamic calendar where Muslims fast every day from dawn till dusk.

Of course, having no food or water for a whole month would be impossible so before dawn, everyone eats a meal called 'suhoor' to prepare for the day

After a long day of fasting they share an evening meal called the 'Iftar'.

Some kids say the most challenging part is when you are so close to Iftar but you have to wait, and it can be tough to see other people eating.

During Ramadan, Muslims are encouraged to focus on things like prayer, reading the Koran and helping those in need and when the month wraps up there's a big celebration called Eid.

ENDGAME CLIMBING THE RECORD LADDER

Avengers: Endgame's plan for world domination is going pretty well as it continues to make huge amounts of money and break a ton of records!

It's now the second highest earning movie of all time and it's only been out for 2 weeks!

It's just knocked Titanic out of second place and is now only a few hundred million behind knocking Avatar off top spot.

SONIC GETS A MAKEOVER

The new movie trailer for Sonic The Hedgehog hasn't gone down too well with fans.

In fact the response has been so bad they're actually redesigning the main character completely!

The video game character that the movie is based on looks very different to the one that appears in the movie with lots of people complaining about his eyes and human teeth in particular.

The director of film has thanked fans for the feedback, and says Sonic's character will be re-designed before the movie comes out later this year.

MOVIE CHARACTERS COME TO LIFE

Speaking of movies, these days most of the cool stuff you see is done by computer graphics.

You know Iron Man's suit transforming or Thanos's whole look.

But not too long ago it was mostly done with robots! Well kind of.

Flying ghosts, crawling turtles and even a singing pig!

These aren't real creatures - they're animatronics!

They were all made by Aussie movie expert John Cox.

He's been designing and building props for 30 years and for some pretty big movies too, like Babe and Racing Stripes.

Animatronics is the technique of using motors and cables to create life-like mechanical puppets.

They're used a lot at places like theme parks and are responsible for some iconic movie characters.

They're not as popular in the movie industry these days because it's cheaper and easier to use computers to make the same things.

John does that side of things too but he needs more space in his workshop so he's had to put some of his inventions up for auction!

He's hoping they'll end up with people who love the world of animatronics just as much as he does.

ADELAIDE UNITED'S CLUTCH WINNER

It's been a massive weekend of clutch moments in sport.

First up in an A-League elimination final, Adelaide United's striker stepped up in the dying minutes of the game and scored the winner.

This goal from Ben Halloran helped Adelaide United to a 1-nil win over Melbourne City which will see them through to the semi finals!

LIVERPOOL CLOSE TO THE PREMIER LEAGUE TITLE

The race to win the English Premier League title will now go down to the final round of the season!

Liverpool needed a winner to keep their championship hopes alive and with just 4 minutes to go, their striker Divock delivered!

It was crunchtime in the NBA playoffs between Golden State & Houston and with seconds to go and his team down, Steph Curry had a chance to keep the Warriors in it.

Unfortunately he missed dunk, left NBA star Steph Curry a bit embarrassed and his team Golden State on the losing end of a key playoff match.

When you're riding waves this insanely big, every moment is crunch time.

This effort by South Africa's Grant Barker has just been crowned the best of 2018 at the Big Wave Awards over in the US.

Meanwhile wipeout of the year went to US surfer Makua Rothman who experienced a different kind of crunch-time.
