KIAM-PUNG or KIAM-PONG in Fookien means "Salted Rice" - is a popular Chinese savory dish. It is made of glutinous or sticky rice mixed with pork or chicken or both, some chorizo, some mushrooms and vegetables then savored with soy sauce to make it rich and flavorful.
This all in one rice bowl is easy to cook and has made into our Pinoy brothers and sisters tables and hearts.
This version is made easier with some adobo leftovers and cooked without sweat in a rice cooker.
