In this video, I will show how I was able to salvage my 2007 f-150 with major frame rot. The rear frame section of the truck was rotted beyond repair but the front was still salvageable. This is my attempt at splicing a 2014 f-150 rear frame section into the front half of the truck at the factory seam. I’m uploading this about 6 months after doing the repair and the truck has held up strong so I help this video can help someone in a similar situation. I will have an update video on it coming soon.
EDIT: I found some missing videos of installing the new frame section onto the existing frame that I’ll be uploading as a Part II. Be on the look out.
