Grayson wrote the first lyrics, selected the tempo, selected the key and scale and the instruments to be played in the song. 5ean and Grayson worked out an arrangement on midi in our DAW. Later, that night 5ean spent several hours programming and then recording the parts from his Roland Go Keys keyboard into the DAW. Session Drummer 2 was used for the drum parts. Drum loops were the only loops used. All non-percussive parts composed from the Eb Major and its relative minor - the C Minor scale. No preset midi tracks, snap to key/scale or AI instruments. When Grayson and 5ean met up again in the home studio Grayson laid down vocals. 5ean then wrote and recorded his vocals on his Shure SM58, mixed and exported to master. Grayson decided he was happy with the mix, and so it was released.
