Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2025!
I had the pleasure of returning to Surespan Covers in Aldridge for #NationalApprenticeshipWeek. During my conversation with Stan, we explored his journey through GCSEs and A-Levels, and his desire for change. He chose an apprenticeship in Business Administration at Surespan, eager to earn while he learns.
This year's theme for National Apprenticeship Week is ‘Skills For Life.’ It highlights how apprenticeships equip individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary for a fulfilling career.
Not only do these programs help develop younger generations with skills for the future, but they also prepare them for the workforce right now!
I congratulate and thank our local employers who dedicate their time and resources to training apprentices; without their ongoing investment, the skills gap would be significantly wider.
