I almost passed on this project. The laminate top, missing legs and extensive damage to the drawer front veneer was concern for sure!
In the end, the piece turned into a fabulous small dresser that will make a statement in any décor.

Hardware Hole Drilling Jig
I normally use the Kreg Cabinet Hardware Jig for mounting hardware. (link below) For this project I needed to space my holes further apart than the Kreg Jig supports. I found this unit on Amazon and it was perfect for this project. It has the ability to space the holes up to 16 inches apart! I chose the 'all metal' version.

Kreg Drawer pull Jig
This is my "go to" jig for drilling new drawer pull holes. It covers hole spacing up to 5 inches, which is more than enough for the vast majority of pulls. This is a simple but reliable jig.

Fantastic TSP alternative. This project was my first time using Simple Green All Purpose Cleaner. I will use it again for sure! It was effective in removing some tough sticky spots.

Bin Shellac Based Primer
Quick drying, order blocking, stain blocking primer. I use this on any laminate surface and repairs needing wood filler like Bondo.

Ridgid 5 inch Random Orbit Sander
This is my main sander. I use it from rough sand (80 grit) to finish (180+ grit) You can pull off the dust bag and use your shop vac for better dust control.
