What a beautiful SUP along a small stretch of the River Thames!
Due to Co-Vid19 and having access to only one board, Frankie and I had only been out for 2 SUPs this year. With the huge generosity of Jo Moseley and BlueFin SUP, we were lent a second board, and we decided its first outing should be along this section of the River Thames near Maidenhead.
We found this launch spot on the British Canoeing 'PaddlePoints' site (link below)
Remember, if you're wanting to head out on rivers and canals in the UK, you must have a Waterways license, which you can purchase from the British Canoeing site. It's £45 for the year, and the money goes towards the maintenance of all of our rivers and canals.
