The DDA is part of the wider SAP Activate Methodology and, like all SAP Best Practices, improves our Clients' Implementation Process and our ability to effectively deploy SAP S/4HANA.

The DDA process includes several steps, starting with a Quick Qualification to capture high-level information about the customer. This information might include whether they are an existing or new SAP customer, their plan for moving to SAP S/4HANA, the countries involved, the industry area, and whether they require a finance-led or operational ERP, among other things. Based on this initial assessment, the tool might provide an automated recommendation, or in some cases, require a detailed review by SAP experts to determine the best-fit recommendation​​.
