New River Fishing in August for Smallmouth and Redeye Bass | NC River Bass Fishing in Jefferson

Описание: The Smallmouth Bass and Redeye were HUNGRY on this float down the New River. I really toyed with not even making a fishing video on this kayak trip down a very popular stretch of the New River in Jefferson, NC... BUT, the fishing was too good not to film and I already had the GoPro with me so, why not? (Even though I only had it with me to test the new neck mount I had just purchased.)
I must say, the amount of fish we caught on this float was a rare occasion. I mention somewhere in the video that I'm usually lucky to catch 10 on this stretch of river but the fish were on fire and they were loving my Christmas Tree curly tail grub. We got a few nice sized bass and the biggest catch was my last one of the day. I feel that this video gets more and more 'unhinged' as it goes along but It was a very fun afternoon on the water, even with storms looming constantly behind us and I hope you enjoy the video.
