In the first game, players choose from four characters—Hawk, Mace, Alana, or Smasher—as they battle through seven levels and 22 stages to stop the villainous Dr. Dex Zeng. The game features co‑op play, dozens of moves per character, and a wide range of weapons including rocket launchers, shotguns, pipes, and grenades.

The sequel, Fighting Force 2, follows Hawk Manson on a solo mission to uncover illegal human cloning experiments conducted by the Knackmiche Corporation. This entry introduces more complex environments, improved visuals, advanced effects, intense hand‑to‑hand combat, and over 20 weapons used to eliminate enemies and destroy key facilities.
