Our Holiday Caravan, Our House, and Honey the Dachsund

My mother shot this video showing scenes from what is evidently a caravan park that my parents used (at this time I was working for Thorn EMI Central Research Laboratories Ltd in Hayes, Middlesex) as well as more scenes around my parent's home and garden at their retirement house in Bognor Regis. My Dad's 1985 Silver Vauxhall Cavalier Mark 2 hatchback appears parked outside the caravan. In comparison with my other videos titled "Our House (and some new houses) (Part 1)" and "Our House (Part 2)", having been shot some time after, the garden's plants are clearly more developed. There's a shot of a sunflower which is interesting because I have grown sunflowers every year since I was about 10 years old, kept the seeds and replanted them the next year, but this wouldn't have been one I planted as I hadn't lived with my parents since 1977 except briefly after graduating from Hull University before moving into my first residence which was a maisonette
in Southall, Middlesex. There's a shot of the pet dachsund "Honey" walking towards the camera and ends with a brief shot of my Dad in the back garden.

The cine camera used was probably a Sankyo Super CM400 that I inherited from my grandfather Harry Garrett (on my mother's side) who was a keen amateur photographer and cinematographer; I left it with my parents after I finished secondary school and started an undergraduate apprentice scheme with EMI Ltd, and it stayed with them until after my father died, after which it came back to me.
