US special envoy Stephen Biegun meets Chinese vice foreign ministers to discuss North Korea issues

Officials from China and the US met in Beijing to discuss about the stalled North Korea nuclear talks. However, Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng and US Special Envoy Stephen Biegun have not revealed any details. Pyongyang has been piling pressure on Washington to offer new concessions before end-2019 by conducting further weapons tests. Mr Biegun also met Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Luo Zhaohui, and they exchanged views on achieving denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula in stages.
