Our monthly "club meeting" of the True North Caricature Carvers (TNCC) where we discuss many aspects of Caricature Carving.
** Discussion and examples of what members are working on - "what's on the bench"
*** A teaching session on Sharpening Carving Tools
**** A teaching and discussion on "How to apply Finishes to Carvings" - Finishing, Preparation of wood surface, Painting, Applying Antiquing effects, applying final finish of a light Wax, and/or the use of "Urethane".
^^^^^ Introduction of a Carving Challenge/Teaching with John Andre - "Carving of a Pencil" - developing a carver's discipline - continuing a series for carvers where previous carving small projects have been Carving a Small Caricature entitled "Hoodie" (Small caricature wearing a University Hoodie), a small Baseball Bat - each small challenge develops the carving ability in a certain area of difficulty
