Causal loop | The most likely way to go into the past |
The Causal Loop is a theory popularized by a scientist from Russia named Igor Novicov. Igor Novicov states that paradoxes can be avoided if time travel fulfills a consistent Self principle. Scientists explain the Self Consistent principle with billiard balls. Imagine a billiard ball going into a time machine. Then the billiard ball appears in the past and hits itself before it goes into the time machine. If the collision causes him not to enter the time machine, it becomes a paradox. However, if what happens is that the ball from the future continues to hit but at a different angle and causes it to enter the time machine, then the events will be consistent and will not cause a paradox. But the consequence of this incident is, we will never know which billiard ball hit the other billiard ball first. Because of this incident, it repeats itself without beginning and without end. This paradox is called the Bootstrap paradox.
